As a QA Engineer with a focus on front-end development, you will be responsible for testing our applications built with Next.js and React Native. You will ensure that our products are not only functional but also provide an excellent user experience. You will collaborate closely with our development and design teams to identify and address issues and suggest improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Test applications built with Next.js and React Native to ensure functionality and performance.
- Review and provide feedback on design elements, ensuring they meet user experience standards.
- Identify and document bugs, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with developers to ensure that changes are implemented correctly.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Write and automate tests, including unit, integration, end-to-end, and performance tests.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development and design.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer, preferably with a focus on front-end development.
- Strong understanding of Next.js and React Native frameworks.
- Experience in writing automated tests using tools like Jest, Cypress, or similar.
- Excellent eye for design and user experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with developers and designers.
- Experience with testing tools and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
Good to have:
- Experience in writing UI automation tests using “Maestro”.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies is a plus.
