What is an online academy?
A Plant-for-the-Planet Academy is an exciting one-day workshop. Together with other children and young people, 9 -14-year-olds can find answers to many questions about the climate crisis:
- Climate crisis and global justice: what is the climate crisis and how does it affect us - here and in other places around the world? What is climate justice?
- Ecological connections: Why are forests important for the climate? How do they reduce the level of CO2 in the atmosphere?
- Ideas for your own activities: What can I do myself? How can I inspire others to join in?
Best of all, you become a Climate Justice Ambassador and you can become active yourself: Plant trees, organize academies and campaigns at your school, or give lectures. Everyone can play to their strengths!
