Role Overview
As the Organizational Development Coordinator, you will be crucial in supporting the establishment and growth of Plant-for-the-Planet’s operations in India. You will help manage partnerships, coordinate among internal teams, and strengthen the work of Plant-for-the-Planet to drive meaningful action for climate justice.
Your Responsibilities
- Organizational Setup Support: Assist in establishing Plant-for-the-Planet’s presence in India, including national strategies and frameworks for effective operations.
- Coordination and Collaboration: Work closely with local and international teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and effective collaboration among partners and supporters.
- Networking and Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including NGOs, government bodies, and private organizations.
- Event Representation: Help place the organization and its products at relevant local and international events to raise awareness and support for our mission.
- Administrative and Logistical Support: Provide comprehensive executive assistance to the leadership team in the context of the work, organizing documents, coordinating meetings and logistics.
Your Profile
- M.A. in Policy, Politics, Communication, Organizational Development, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in organizational development, event management, project management, or a similar role
- Proven experience in building networks and relationships, preferably in a nonprofit or international setting
- Adaptability to evolving software solutions; proficient in using Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish, German) is a plus
